INTRODUCTION
Management theories are
the concepts which involves the effective
tools and framework which can be executed
by the organization for the better result
McDonald company is the global food service
retailer company. It has the goof range of the
global customer. This report will show the
merger of the McDonald company with the
Coca Cola multinational beverages company.
MAIN BODY
Leadership and management theories for resolving the issues:
Leadership and management theories are capable of resolving the issues.
Contemporary theory:
Contemporary theory is defined as class of behavioural process which conveys that there is no better way to organize
the workplace. It enables the leader to take effective decisions for the betterment of the organization.
Contingency theory:
It is the contingent approach use by the management, it generally describes the effectiveness of the leader's personality
or method which is used by the leader to operate in any situation. It identifies that certainly there are some other
variables which can affect the particular situation.
Behavioural theory:
This theory define as human notions which involves the managing of the work productivity by knowing the employee
motivation which includes their requirements, interest. It generally addresses the human dimension towards their work.
This theory enables the management to analyse the behaviour of their employee as their work pattern so that if any
problem occur they can found the solution to overcome.
Suitable Organizational structure for the new company
As for the McDonald company who merge with
the other company Coca Cola the multinational beverage company.
The problem which both the companies employees are facing as the
conflicts among the employees as they possess the different culture
Functional structure:
Functional structure is defined as the company divides their employees
on the basis of their roles or specialities. It enables McDonald and the
Coca Cola company to organize their structure according to their
employees skills and ability.
Effectiveness of this structure.
This structure can present the outcome in the narrowed perception as
due to the particularity of the various department.
Specialization advantage:
As this structure implement the specialization as employee from each
department ensures the departmental competence. It enables the
company to manage all their functionalities efficiently.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that
the management and leadership theories must need to
implemented in the workplace.
