ABSTRACT
Managing a successful business project is very essential for developing various
opportunities for the organisation. In the present report, aim and objectives are developed on the
basis of which whole project is conducted in an effective manner. It has been said that in this
report, different sections are covered which includes project management plan, research
methodology, data analysis, recommendations and many more. A project management plan is
developed in this research which includes various elements such as cost, time, resources, scope
and many more. After conducting this research, it has been identified that primary research is the
method which is quite beneficial in order to collect accurate and authentic data. In this report,
questionnaire method is used for collecting authentic data where total number of respondents are
30. At last, some suggestions are provided to the management team where they should provide
effective training and development sessions to their staff members on a day to day basis.

INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is a approach applied by various multinational firm with motive to increase
as well as expand its business operations at global stage, so that they can increase their
profitability. This is the method which provide various opportunities to the organisation which as
a result enhance the brand image of company. By adopting globalisation method companies will
be able to attract large number of customers towards their entity which leads to a boost in
profitability. Primark a multinational firm headquartered in Ireland which is chosen as the base
organisation and revolves around fast fashion industry. In this project, various things are
included which need to be conducted effectively for which aims and objectives are going to be
developed. Apart from this, work breakdown structure, Gantt chart and project management plan
is included. In addition to this, recommendation is given to the company after perform the
investigation effectively. It is the research which mainly consist of detail description over the
topic of research methodology. At the end of this research, suggestions is given to the managers
along with this reflection is made on the whole journey.

Globalisation is one of the most important approach adopted by large number of
organisation so they can enhance their business functionality at global level. Along with
this, by using this method company enjoys the availability of different opportunities at the
competitive marketplace. Primark has been selected in this research, which mainly deals retail
industry with the aim of generating higher success. Company mainly operates its business
functions in different countries across the world (Clinton and Whisnant, 2019). According to
current scenario of Primark, management team of the company select, recruit, provide training
sessions for the development of employees so they can accomplish organisational goals in an
effective way. In reference to the present context, company hire a researcher so that they can
achieve desired aim as well as objectives and develop positive result. Research aim,
objectives of this research are discussed below-

Concept of globalisation and its impact on HRM practices

integration as well as interaction within individuals, government along with companies all over
the world. In reference to the current research topic, it has been said that there are different types
of HRM practices which are to be undertaken by management of the entity. With the assistance
of highly skilled employees, managers achieve their goals in an effective way within given
time frame. It has been analysed that the HR manager of an organisation does not rely on the
particular marketplace in order to find best and suitable staff members so that they can meet
the global requirements in an appropriate way. Therefore, it is said that due to globalisation,
HRM practices highly influences as it affects the overall business functions of the company.
Issues that may arise in front of Primark to meet global standard requirement
As per the opinion of Omri, Frikha and Bouraoui, (2015), it is clearly examined that
there are various elements which might influence the overall business functions. While doing
business functions managers of the company face cultural diversity, semiskilled employees,
language barriers, workforce diversity, legal policies and regulations and many more are the
common problems and issues face by managers of Primark while doing business expansion. It

has been analysed that all these issues affect the smooth functioning of the company in a
negative manner if not adopted in an effective manner. Therefore, it is very crucial for the

allocation process without carrying out proper research. Therefore, it has been said that

research in an effective manner. Therefore, it is very essential for the researcher to
calculate the cost in an effective manner before conducting the research (Deresky,
2017). So that, funds can be collected and managed by the team within specific time
frame. With the help of sufficient amount of cost it is said that researcher will be able to

essential for Primark to undertake cost in best effective manner as slight imbalance in
cost lead entity towards ineffective business operations such as production,

Work breakdown structure: WBS is a tool mainly used by project manager in order to divide
complex and time consuming task in different small activities. This method plays very
important role in the present research as it enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of team
members. WBS structure is used by project leader in order to complete the task within
specific period of time and in effective manner (Hillary, 2017). It has also been said that

each team member is assigned with work according to their efficiency. With the help of

data. There are various sources from which data will be gathered which includes personal
interview, questionnaire, observation, survey, focused group and so on (Huntington, 2018). In
the context of present research, primary data collection method aid researcher in order to gather
accurate, authentic and reliable data as well as information which as a result produce positive
outcome. Apart from this, it is one of the most time consuming and costly method which requires
skilled candidates to collect desired information and data.

Secondary Data: It is the another method for gathering data and information which is
already collected by some other person in past. There are various sources of secondary data
collection method which includes books, newspaper, journals, websites, case studies and so on. It
is one of the easiest method for collecting data, which save time and cost of the investigator. In
the present research, scholar use books, online articles, journals and websites so that they will be
able to gather required information.
In reference to the current study, researcher adopts primary along with secondary data
collection method so that they can gather relevant data and information on a specific topic within
given time frame. Investigator use questionnaire method in primary whereas in case of secondary
method they use books, journals, online articles for collecting data.
Qualitative research: In the current investigation, qualitative data help in aiming to
determine the characteristics as well as traits and is mainly represented by number code, symbols
and name. this is the sort of investigation where collected information and data is surveyed by
the explanation of data and experience. It is the kind of research which assist in collecting
detailed information on a particular topic (Julien, 2018). Such data is being gathered with the aid
of observation method, survey, personal interview and so on. In the current study, investigator
adopt qualitative research method whose outcome is generally based on the perception of human.
Quantitative research: It is the type of research which is mainly based on the numerical
format as well as expressed in numbers. In this type of research, gathered information is analysed
by adopting statistical formula and various numerical methods. Information as well as raw
figures are collected with the help of questionnaire method so that the research will be conducted
in an effective manner. Data collected with this method is quite reliable and specific as well as
for elaborating the research, graphs and charts are used by researcher.

investigator adopt qualitative research method.
Research philosophy: There are two type of research philosophies which are positivism
and interpretivisim. According to the current research interpretivisim philosophy is used because

Ans: Both method has their merits and demerits but centralised method will be more

more flexible because their work need specialisation.

policies in order to meet the global requirements. In this context, some of the important

recommendations are given by the researcher to the management team of Primark are as
follows:

and development sessions regularly so they can conduct their work effectively.

the staff members. Managers can provide training sessions to their employees
according to the requirements so that they can perform their task effectively.
 It has been recommended to the investigator that while conducting this research, they

knowledge about a particular topic. With the help of this, researcher will be able to
enhance their skills, experience and information which assist them in their near
future.
 It is required by the management team of Primark to perform all their functions
according to the changing environment so that positive outcome will be produced by
them. This as a result assist them in order to achieve their targets in an effective
manner.
 It has also been suggested to the managers of the company that they need more finance
so that they can enhance their business operation globally as well as raise its market
presence. For this, it is essential by the higher authorities of Primark to take funds from
their personal contacts as it saves cost as well as time of them.

 The Human Resource manager of Hotel can organize activities related to the working
of Hotel so that employees can learn how to effectively provide service to customers
which raise Primark reputation within the market. In addition to this, it will enhance
the performance of all the staff members that automatically increases the
performance as well as productivity of Hotel.
Reflection
While conducting the whole research in an effective manner, it has been observed by
me that there are various issues which affect the whole result of this project. When I was
interacting with individuals, I got to know that my communication skill and my time
management skill is not so effective which affect the whole outcome of the research. My
initial research didn't go well because I was lacking behind my schedule and my
communication skills were reducing my level of confidence. In addition to this, it has been
said that when I was gathering information from the respondents, my communication skill is
enhanced which provide me ample number of opportunities in near future. Along with this,
it has also been examined that all my capabilities and skills are enhanced when I was
conducting this research which gives me various positive results in near future.
Furthermore, there are different types of activities performed by the researcher in
order to produce positive outcomes effectively. It has been identified that one of the most
crucial as well as essential task for the researcher is to collect information from the
respondents in an effective manner. There are some factors or elements which affect the
overall result of the research. While collecting information it has been identified that my
communication and convincing skill is not effective which reduce the quality of research
outcome. It has been analysed that while collecting information, respondents do not provide
correct answers which affect the whole process in a negative manner. It has been said that
one of the good thing which is done by the researcher is that my skills has been analysed
which provide me various opportunities in near future. This is the process which requires lot
of time, cost and patience which affects the result as I was quite nervous while
communicating with respondents. Along with this, majority of respondents thinks that it is
one of the most time consuming activity which negatively affects the output of this research.
But at the end of this research, my communicating and time management skill is improved
which aid me nearly in future. I completed my work before deadline and I learnt various

skills which was not part of my personality earlier. This was the only good that I can take
from my project. It has been said that one of the biggest thing which is being learned by me
throughout the whole research is that for producing positive outcome it is essential to gather
high quality information and data.
CONCLUSION
With the aid of above stated report, it is concluded that globalization is the method
which extremely affect the performance of the organization in positive & negative way. It
has also been identified that each and every organization need to adopt effective recruitment
policies which assist in selecting, hiring and recruiting best candidate for the development of
company at the competitive marketplace. In this report, a Project management plan is
prepared with the assistance of which researcher can effectively conduct their work
positively and within specific time period. Along with this, researcher chose primary &
secondary method for collecting data which as a result produce positive outcome which is
