The categories of events are as follows: 1.Sporting and charity events: More than 8,000 major outdoor events are conducted every year in UK. These events include a broad range of activities like major festivals, sporting events, charity events, agricultural shows. The sector has witnessed huge growth over the years . (Chaudhari, 2020) The London Olympics 2012 was a major worldwide event that helped UK companies improve their expertise. 2.Music festivals and concerts: Over 12 million music tourists spend billions of pound with British music concerts being hugely popular. Music festivals are generally gather the highest number of audience and needs proper management.Parties and galas are also a popular form of events. They usually contain gigantic guest lists and initimate gatherings. 3.Corporate events: Seminars, conferences, trade shows and workshops are organised for businessandeducationalpuposes.Thetargetmarketaretheworkersofvarious companies and students from universities. Its basic needs are venues and professional communication equipments. The organisaers of these events work B2B and help the business connect with staffs and public. Conferences are typically more complicated with multiple speakers and sessions and contain interviews, roundtables and panel discussions. Exhibitions and trade fairs helps UK economy to generate exports. There has been a strong base in UK for such events and international trade. They attract over 15 million visitors every year and generating a high revenue.
