INTRODUCTION
The organisation behaviour is very important in order to study various aspects of
individual who is working under business enterprise. It is very essential to determine the
behaviour of people interact within the group. The theory and various approaches of
organisational behaviour can be used by human resource manger in order to develop
understanding of individual behaviour at workplace. With the help of this entity can run its
activities in more significant manner. To make this process effective it is required to behave
professionally so that firm can achieve its desired objectives. It can be understood with the three
concept are as-behaviour of organisation, its individual and work group who is engaged in
business activities. The various theories are to be adopted to gave the impressive working
environment. It is very essential to maximise the profit so that firm is able to maintain strong
brand image in market. The overall success of the business enterprise dependent on the human
resource action of firm. In this present report the activities of BBC is taken into consideration in
order to explain various theories and concepts related to organisational behaviour. The firm is
settled art very larger part. This report will help to identify the importance of organisation
behaviour in order to know the efficient working of individual. The behaviour of human are
having large impact on the growth of business enterprise. The manager of the BBC is taking
various effective steps with regard to expand the business activities of firm by managing the
performance of team in expert manner. The report will have focus on identifying the way
culture, power, politics have influence on behaviour of individual or group. The study will
demonstrate the relationship between culture, politics, power and motivation.

P1 A) Earlier Organisation Culture in BBC
According to Charles handy model there are three types of organisation culture that can
be adopted by BBC. These are Power, Role, Task and person culture.
Power culture-BBC can use this type of culture in order to respond quickly to situation. This
type of culture increases the dependent of enterprise on their employees to solve various critical
and complex issues. The kind of organisational culture intends to attract power orient ended and
political minded people. This culture have focus on inviting those people who have power to
bear risk.

Role culture-In role culture position is the main power source. The individual is being selected
on the basis of their ability to perform task in effective manner.
Task Culture-This type of culture is based on culture and nature of job. This type of culture
intends to bring appropriate resources and people together in order to complete particular task
Person culture-It is an unusual kind of culture. This kind of culture is usually not adopted by any
organisation. Person culture emphasize on individual. It aims to provide support to individual in
order to fulfil their interest without overriding objective.
The culture in BBC is task and oriented. BBC culture is much influenced by Power
culture. Both the culture in BBC has assisted firm in achieving success and expanding its
business.
According to Smith, The business culture and climate are aligned with the values of
business, which influence various aspects in the workforce. The lack of effective enterprise
culture and climate have great effect on the social climate of business because there is lack of
defined objectives to guide individual action at work. Through effective business culture, the
organisation can guide their objective and hire talented workforce. Smith has states that the "the
culture or practices of the BBC have been relevant to preventing or enabling the sexual abuse of
children, young people or teenagers"; and people who held senior positions at the BBC who may
have relevant information about the situation or unethical conducted by its members. He said
that the other employees in BBC was aware about the fact but due to the fear of the high
authorities they had not taken initiative to raise their voice in order to prevent children and
people from abuse.

The power and politics plays effective role in relation to activities of organisation. The
main object is to define the behaviour of individual, or how they make their interaction with each
other. These kinds of activities are very essential to enhance the growth of business. With the
help of this organisation is table to take expert decision making. The organisation behaviours is
very important whether firm is of small or medium sized. The political factors affect the entity
culture in large manner. This kind of activities are very useful in order to enhance the
profitability and productivity of firm. This kind of things are very essential in relation to manage
