INTRODUCTIONHealth and Social Care (HSC) sector works in order to ensure that patients areadministered with best quality services. Professionals of this sector encounter variouschallenging behaviours that are posted by clients (Allemand, Steiger and Fend, 2015). In order tomanage the situations in proper way, it is necessary for HSC executive to use good interpersonaland communication skills. The assignment includes legislations that have been developed bygovernment for measuring health & safety practices within organisations. Intervention tools andpractices used to promote positive behaviour are included in this project. TASK 1P1 Legislations related to restrictive interventions in Health and Social CareCovered in posterP2 Interventions used to promote positive behaviourIntervention refers to an act of involvement that is undertaken to enhance theperformance state of an individual. Social care workersand practitioners areresponsible forperforming andevaluating theintervention (Crone,Hawken and Horner,2015). Methods used in thisintervention arediscipline referrals andcontract forms. Thecriteria for this methodare use of respectfullanguage and positivecomments. 1
