Section Three: Literature sources searched
Use of key literature sources to support your research question, objective or hypothesis:
Equality and Diversity
As per the view of Klarsfeld, and et.al., (2016), equality is considered to be relevant at all workplaces regarded the employer
have employed two or two hundred people, irrespective of whether they work remotely, in an office, a warehouse or on a shop
floor. On the other hand, diversity have accounted major level of differences between the people and groups placing the positive
values on those differences. The author supported the statement as the diverse an inclusive workplace has proper belonging
from the different backgrounds, knowledge, skill and experiences to rete the positive and effective workforce. On the other
hand, it is important for the human resource practices in helping out the company to gauge the level of its development. The
firm have bigger level of responsibility for the accomplishments and advocacies of the equality and diversity principles which
are incorporated in every activity of the organization (Ylöstalo, 2016). Efficient equality and diversity should prey support the
communisation as well as accomplishment or arrangement. The author state as organization have the need to take proper

the resentments and mistrust. This negative by products of diversity in the workplace may lies in the incorrect level of
perceptions of the fair hiring practices in perfect manner. The Ng and Stamper., 2018) contradicted as the cultural diversity will
be help in boosting the productivity and creativity as this will be helpful in igniting the loyalty and boosting their retention. This
also lead in having their varsity ad better execution by getting comfortable with sharing viewpoints from the different cultural
backgrounds. This will be getting a whole chunk of ideas that are different from the other. moving to other side of the story
cultural diversity will lead to have ore stress and make the environment more negative. naturally it will be happening as diverse
cultural will automatically lead to have discrimination most obvious.
Impact of Equality and Diversity of The Firm of Productivity.
As per the view of the Ylöstalo, (2016), managing both equality and diversity is considered to be equally important which
impacts all the employees working in the organization. The author supported the statement as the business have been proven

the organization for having the responsibility to promote equality throughout the working and management of company.
According to the view of Köllen., (2020), equality and diversity have the live to embrace the right skills and learning the firm
have to understand that providing the equality will provide value to the company.
Research gap
As from the above literature review, it an b clearly understood as the equality and diversity promotion have its own pro and
cons. Discrimination, the intended or accomplished differential treatment of persons or social groups for reasons of certain

generalized traits. The challenge for the future is to embrace a new partnership aimed at closing the gap between the universal
expansion of the world. The collaboration and teamwork are among the employees to the critical success. on the other hand, the
major level of accountability in accomplishing the of the equality and diversity preprogrammes is for further fulfilments through
completion of various activities geared activities which lie in organization.

Section Five: Research approach and methodologies
What type of research approach and methodologies are you likely to use and why? What your areas of research will
cover:
Research methodologies
Research methodologies plays a significant role in making the research successful. tis section of research have inclusion of
several element such as research types, designs, research approach, research philosophies and data collection. this section will
follow-up each and every step to make the research more significant and narrowed finding solution to various issues (Klarsfeld
and et.al., 2016). The selection of research type, different approaches and specific philosophy will be turning out to b critical
part of research so as per the research, they are discussed below-
Research Philosophy
This aspect is regarding the development of significant knowledge and skills of researcher in relation to topic. They are
different in beliefs about the proper phenomena of collection information, analysing and doing the interpretation. There are
mainly the 3 type of philosophies used in research such as positivism and interpretivism. Researcher have to make selection
Document Page
between the two on basis of research type. The former one is used in quantitative and latter one in qualitative. This research is
qualitative so the approach of interpretivism will be used.
Research Approach
research approaches refer to systematic procedure which onsite of several steps based on broad assumptions of data collection,
analysis and interpretation. The research approach are deductive and inductive approaches as the selection between the them
similarly depends as research philosophy. As the research is qualitive in nature so the inductive approach will be used to have
development of data which are not on basis of hypothesis but surely provide solution to issue. Qualitative research is used to
understand how people experience the world. While there are many approaches to qualitative research, they tend to be flexible
and focus on retaining rich meaning when interpreting data.
Research Design
Research design is he proper outlining of overall strategy which have to be used by the researcher for integrating different
components for the whole study in require ad systemize manner. there are significant 4 types of research design which are
named as descriptive, experimental, semi-experimental and co relational. the main ai of the research design is to have ensuring
the significant evidences to the researcher to address all the solution to research issues. . In a type of descriptive and theory-
based research design, researcher mainly focus on describing the main situation and the problem under research. On the other
hand, in the experimental approaches, there is need to identify the strong level of relationship between the effect and cause of
situation. So, the correlation is also stated a non-experimental research design which is helpful in connecting the relationship
between the 2 closely connected variable.
Research methods
This is strategies, processes or techniques utilized in the collection of data and evidence of analysis. The research method used
in the project is the qualitative study. the qualitive study will provide deductive and hinges on the presence of a hypothesis,
which is identified before research begins The qualitative approach will include research concepts and methods from multiple
established academic fields.

Data collection
Data collection the main part of research as without collecting appropriate information regarding the topic, it will not be
possible to conduct an efficient and effective research. Basically, there are two ways to conduct the research i.e. primary
methods and secondary method. the former one is about collecting the raw information which have never been used by anyone
for the purpose. On the other hand, secondary data will be considered as data which have collected by anyone else for research
purpose but have significant quality to be used in this research also. Some examples of primary data sources are: Observations
and focus group (Klein, 2016). The secondary analysis different newspaper, internet and articles which are used as secondary
data. For this research, the both will be making the use both primary and secondary data is making for making more research
successful and authenticity. So in this research, there will be used of both primary and secondary data collection. The primary
data will be collected through significant an well structure questionnaire why will help in analysis the proper and appropriate
manner. On the other hand, secondary data will be used to have literature review understand the research gaps and various
perception of differ researcher in relation to topic.
Sampling Method
Sample is being defined as the group of the people which have been taken from the large population. The major aim of sampling
is to have collection of the information from the selected people on basis of population. This is done as it is not possible for the
researcher to collect information from large population. there are two different way for collecting the sampling that’s is
probability and non-probability sampling. The former one has known chances for being selected in survey. The sample size of
the research will be 30 respondents who will be employee of company . On the other hand, vice versa situation is to prevails as
there have been zero chance of getting selected in the purpose of this research, random non probability sampling will be used in
order to provide the zero chances to participant for getting selected. This will be helpful reducing the chances and equal
opportunity.
Data analysis / presentation
After collecting data, it is important for the researcher to modifications having major level of accuracy and authenticity.
Researcher will have the use of the both primary and secondary data s as to analyse important information. The participants
never provide the accurate data which have the maximum level of chance of getting the error in report. There are two type of
Document Page
data analyses such as qualitative and quantitative. Selection of data analysis is also depending upon the type of data. There will
be qualitative concerned with the analysis of information’s that cannot be quantified. Observations and questionnaires are being
used to get the accurate data. In order to analyse gathered data set thematic perception test technique will be used which in turn
highly suits to the qualitative investigation type. Accordingly, several themes will be prepared referring the views of respondents
selected for survey. Further, using excel several graphs will be prepared for developing better understanding about results. In
addition to this, all the outcomes will clearly be supported using brief thesis prepared in LR.
