INTRODUCTION
The human resource is considered as the most important function in any business organization. It is considered as the
essential component in any business sector. Human resource sector deals with the recruitment and selection of the
employees for the organisation. It consists the hiring of the new employees who are suitable for the organisation and
matches with the desired position required in the organisation. Later on the training is provided to the employees for
enhancing their personality and development in the work performance of the employees. Along with the human
resource department the leadership factor is also considered as the vital component in the operational work. The
leader is the one who is responsible for his team performance (Neal and Chartrand2011).The leader signifies its
group. The working with and leading people defines the leadership qualities and traits which helps in attiring the
attraction of others towards their leader. The way which leaders adopt to perform work with their leads to its group
effectively and the leader is the one who identifies their group .
The leader must be a god motivator who must aim to motivate their subordinates positively and leads to
effectiveness in the work performance. The leader must identify the basic requirements of the employees and focus
on their needs for the effective motivation. The team is a gathering of people together to achieve a single common
goal. A team is consists of several members collectively. The team targets on gaining a single purpose through
collective efforts. Different people with various skills, attributes comes under one unit for the operations. The team
working is considered as an effective working in the organisation as it leads to efficiency in the working and bring
people different together for the working under the same platform and saves the time in the operational work as
several people gets engaged in performing a single task .
It leads to achieve g the harmony in the working. The British Airways is a largest airline which is settles in the
United Kingdom. . The British airways id denoted by the (ba) and was founded on the 31 march 1974. The British
airways are mainly based on the water sides and are established near the London Heathrow Airport (Goffee and Jones
2013). The British airlines lads to certain success heights after some years in the business and expand their work at
certain levels leads to a mass level of growth in their business. The current is manly focusing on the aspect of the
working with and leading the people. It helps in identifying the British airways how they may be able to recruit their
new employees and framing the regulatory impact and they mainly focuses on the leadership. The British airway also
aims at finding suitable leader with the desirable leadership qualities and with the certain skills and attributes which
helps him in motivating their team members in the work performance. The report also enhlights on the team and its

impacts at the time of hiring and selecting the most desirable candidate for the certain position (Lev, 2013). There are

healthy environment. These styles aim at higher productivity and motivating the employees. In the laissez-faire style

such as the responsibilities promotional opportunities etc.
BA can motivate the staff members by making use of effective approaches . Intrinsic
and extrinsic awards can be given to the staff members and it will help for enhancing the morale and
motivational level of employees. Awards can be given to top performing staff members on monthly
basis so that their involvement could be taken for accomplishing the goals and objectives of the firm.

completion of the task on the time. There are certain benefits of working in the team. The advantages of working in
the team are:
Increase in learning- Team working helps in gaining the knowledge from the others .As several people work together
it helps n gathering different knowledge of others.
Building up a trust –working together helps in building up the trust in between each other .It helps in increasing the
trust level within the subordinates.
Delegation of work- Different people gets engaged in performing a single task which helps in dividing the work
according to the member suitability. This helps in getting relaxed from the overburden of the work.
Risk factors- Collective work engaging helps in taking risks at certain levels. Support of various members together
helps the group to take risk against the working.
3.2 How to solve conflicts among the team members?
As being the team leader I will lead the employees in a best way and aims at proving them fuller satisfaction. I
must aims at instructing the employees in such way that helps them in achieving the organisational goal. Proving
motivation at certain levels to the employees must be aims most important which needs to be performed and must
evaluates their working performance regularly and motivate them regarding their duties and the responsibilities. As
being the leader i must consider the capabilities of solving the team conflicts (Bell and Blanchflower 2011). The team
members must be evaluated fairly. The team must be clearly defined with the plans and their roles which helps in
solving their duty and helps in saving the time. The British airways must provide the employees the motivational
lecture which helps in encouraging their employees towards the work. Leader plays a significant role when
employees are having conflicts. In such situation effective communication takes place between employees and leader.
In this process, reason of conflict is trying to be analysed by them. On the basis of that motivation is provided to them
emplooyees for work effectively to achieve their objective. Leader inspire employees for work willing to generate
effective results.

coordination and the team support will helps in increasing the morale level of the employees. The effective team

must be adopted by the British airways in improving their performance.
Training needs- The British airways must aims at providing the technical training to their employees which helps
them in performing effectively in the organisation and as per the requirements of the management (Nam and Pardo
2011). Training helps in enhancing the capabilities of the individual.
Learning needs- The leaders must aims at identifying the learning needs of the employees and provide them with the
sufficient knowledge by conducting various seminars and lectures which aims at an increment level in them.
To analyse and monitor performance of an individual, various factore are considered. Some of them are
folowing:
 Performance: This is considered as a basis step for analysing the performance of employees. It helps in
maesuring the effectiveness of their performance, on the basis of that organisations is able to take necessary

problems by applying various reasons (Bush and Middlewood 2013 ). It consists the logic fields. The creative
thinking consists of identifying the problem in a different ways it donates the thinking in an innovative or in some
new and different ways.
To improve performance of employees, assessment approaches are considered, in this approaches
performance analysis of eemployees takes place. On the basis of that it is analysed that employees are not having
effective communication and time management skill. On the basis of thatnecessary imporvement steps are
considered. It is critically analysed that is improves the performance of employees therefore, it directly impact on the
profitability of company.

the British airways. The different leadership styles like autocratic, democratic are highlighted. British airways adapts
