INTRODUCTIONHealth and social care is a sector which is related to the humans and their health. This isvery serious topic which is directly impacts on human health. So it is essential to manage thisorganisation in a perfect manner, to make fast and impressive service for patients. Effectiveplanning is a basic need for these type of organisations (Nembhard. and Edmondson.,2006.).Strategic planning is well planned structured steps of planning which would be implement in theorganisation. These strategies are helped into attain the targeted goals and to provide betterhealth care to clients and patients.Strategic planning is a way for using the resources in a better style and for the best result.These can have some issues and some changes, it depends on the time and conditions. Thepresent report is based on the Wellington Hospital and the strategies the organization will beadopting is the use of IT in improving quality care in Wellington Hospital.Identifiable objectives of the strategyModifications and changes are a basic need to make improvements in the services and inthe current situation Wellington have to make changes in the IT systems. Top managementswants some changes to compete with the other hospitals and make their services more effective.The present systems are getting old and these are not updated with the new technology so this isessential to improve them. Modification in the IT is not an easy task for the management in therunning conditions, they have work fast and they have to use that time when patient does not getaffect. Managers wants to improve in the IT, they want to update their technology and to makebetter grip and connectivity in between the several departments. In the current scenario, it isimportant to give a class facilities and services to clients to built up their belief on theorganisation. This is a systemic process of change in the IT, this is having a big network so it isnot easy to make changes in it. This improvements may possible with a strategy which is notaffect on the services in the changing process(Cohen., and et. al.,2006.). Wellington wants to compete with the other health care organisation, so they have tomodify in their IT.Management wants to give their services in the fast manner, clients wants a quickresponse from the hospital.To provide a better class services and a better treatment for their patients, this is relatedand impacting on their goodwill and working style and it is make improvement in thesame.Wellington wants to reduce their expenses and this is a cause which creating a hike inexpenses so this can possible with the modification in the IT related equipments. Analysing the success aspects of the strategyPlanning and partnership in between private and government sector is helpful for theclients and to make advanced services for the patients in the health and social care. In this sectorit is better to make changes and increase in the criteria of services and the profits for the patients.This is all about the planning for the changes in the health sector to make advanced treatmentsfor the patients.Wellington can make the planning according to the need of the internal organisation.Wellington wants to change and modify their Information Technology which is related to theconnections of the department(Derose., Escarce. and Lurie.,2007.). Wellington have the clearlyidentified aims to make faster process in the organisation. Head of the hospitals wants a fasterservice related;It starts with reception area where a patient interact first with the reception area in thehospital and ends on the treatment.A patient wants a clear, fast and accurate information from the reception area. Fees, instructions and the profile of the available doctor will provide on the receptiontable.So the new software and website will help to provide the information in the perfactmanner.So there are some clearly defined aims of the hospitals which have the intention related to thebenefits of the clients. A strategy does not succeed without clear identified aims, and withoutthese this is not possible to implement a perfect strategy and analyse it. Because the aims are thebase to evaluate the planning and it is a base to make a comparison in between old and new.
