HR departmentmain role is to motivate and encourage employees so that they are give their best while doingwork for an organisation. Employees are one of the most essential asset of any businessorganisation (Noe And et. al., 2017). The report is based on Crown Plaza hotel which ismultinational chain of full services and facilities, its headquarter is situated in United Kingdom.It is catering to business travellers and conduct meetings and convention in market place. Themain purpose of this assignment is to develop appropriate aims and objectives related to specificresearch topic. Along with this, literature review is used for analysing and examining differentauthors and scholars view points and perceptions regarding research topic. 1.1 Overview of researchIn an organisation, HR department which main function is to create various policies andnorms to regulate a company in an appropriate manner. It has authority to create proper policieswhich help every individual working under the given department of company. It examines alldifferent norms according to the organizational growth as to kill barriers in a company. Itmaintain overall performance of every individual in company and focus on motivatingemployees by designing various policies under company's norms (Noe And et. al., 2017).
