INTRODUCTION:
For keeping, getting and being successful in a job, some skills are needed and
those skills are employability. Employability skills plays a key role in employee's as
well as organization's growth. But it is considerable that every job needs different kind
of job roles and responsibilities and consequently, different kind of employability skills
are required. Here, in this section the roles of employability skills on HR manager
section has been explained. Also, the ways of improvement of employability skills are
explained in the current scenario. Further, work based problems with solution is also
discussed in this study.
TASK 1
1.1 Develop a set of own responsibilities and performance objectives
With a view of a HR manager job, there are some specific roles and
responsibility required to be attained in efficient manner and these functions might
affect the operational system of organization. Being a HR manager, my functions and
responsibilities are related to the effective recruitment in case when firm is planing to
enlarge its business, assessing the need of resources at the time of development of firm,
enhancing skills and abilities of workers, etc. Ability tests and effective interview
sessions for candidates should be conducted to hire skilled and deserving person. It is
significant for me to conduct some really good training programs to boost up the
abilities of employees. Also, I need to plan different activities which involves the
improvement of organization.
There are different important steps which are necessary for employees to attain
achieve their goals. It includes a proper communication channel between the
departments and within the employees so that information can be shared effectively.
Also, my way of communicating with the different level of employees of organization
should be appropriate and effective. I should plan some activities which include
communication between lower level employees and high level authorities to attain the
set goals of company. Ahead, the performance objectives are related to satisfaction of
employees. Further, I should introduce organization with the advanced technology
which will help in boosting up our performance.

1.2 Own effectiveness against defined objectives
As a HR manager, I have been able to justify my job role by providing effective
contribution in the growth of Tasco. And, according to the recent performance
assessment it was evaluated that my performance was effective. My major strength
includes effective recruitment procedure, which is a key factor in development of an
organization. I have clear goals towards success. I take roles and responsibilities given
to me by high level authorities and attain them on time, thus I have good time
management skills, which makes me a quality employee. Further, I have ability to create
communication link between high level employees and low level operational team.
Moreover, I execute various activities like ability tests, skill tests and various
development training which makes the operational system of the firm better. Thus, in
this way, I am efficient enough to justify with my roles and responsibilities.
But, there are still some areas on which I should work for more effective
performance and the major among them is presentation skill. I lack this quality. I am not
much good in representing myself properly before high level authorities. Also, I should
work on my monitoring skills. It is very crucial to direct the underneath employees
properly. Further, I should gain some more technical knowledge for effective work to
justify my job role. By improving my lacking areas, I will be able to achieve success.
1.3 Make recommendations for improvement
In order to improve my presentation skills, I should attend seminars and conduct
them in my organization too. Also, various personality development programs will also
help in improving my presentation skills. Further, with the help of books and journals on
presentation skills, this lacking area can be improved. By observing candidates with
good presentation skills in all the training programs, conferences and meetings could
help- me to a greater extent in improving my presentation skills. Also, I should work on
monitoring skills, as appropriateness in directing the employees makes you a better
leader. For attaining better monitoring, a bit strictness is required for making operational
team more effective.

It is very important to have complete technical knowledge to achieve the set
goals in order to attain success. Technical knowledge can be gained with the help of
books, internet. Seniors are also helpful in this context, individual can achieve technical
knowledge from them too. Also, by keeping myself up to date with the advanced
technology and innovative technical equipment will also help me to boost up my aspect
of technical knowledge and will help me in attaining success and growth.
1.4 Use of motivational techniques to improve quality of performance
Motivational techniques helps in improvement of performance of
employees(Rao, 2014.). There are various motivational theories explained in order to
attain the success by improving the performance and quality of work of operational
team. Some of them are as follows-
Self-improvement- This technique involves execution of various training session and
activities which enhances the performance of operational unit. With the help of these
activities, employees will be able to evaluate their performance and will work
effectively.
Implementation of Reward System-This is the most effective tool which influence the
employees' motivation. By providing them with the rewards for their appreciable efforts
will help them to keep motivated. This rewards can be incentives or other benefits.
Assuring employees that their extra work will provide them with extra benefits would
make them work more and this would increase the performance of organization.
Business should develop reward system to provide benefits to the deserving employee.
Verbal Praises- This is also an effective tool to motivate employees and thus, will
improve the quality of performance. Success can be attain by verbally praising the
employees, which will help them in accomplishing the work more effective. Also, it
helps in maintaining the interest level among employees for their work.
TASK 2
2.1 Solutions to work-based problems
There are various factors that influence the performance of business such as
communication between the departments and within the employees, efficiency and

effectiveness of workforce, quality of work or workforce, IT skills, digital skills,
flexibility and adaptability, problem solving strategies, leadership quality, time
management etc.(Yang, Coleman, Das and et.al 2015.). Lack of effectiveness of
mentioned qualities create problems in working of an organization in proper manner.
For success of any business organization the essential requirement is appropriate
communication for sharing information. By adopting computer assisted communication
tools it will become easier for an organization to communicate. Further, high level
authorities should involve gestures and listening skill in their communication. Also,
during the process of recruitment more emphasis should be given on the skills and
abilities of candidates as skilled and qualified employees will work effectively and
consequently, performance of organization will improve. Healthy competition may also
be conducted to increase the efficiency of workforce. Moreover, by executing various
training sessions, self-improvement seminars will help in improving work quality of
operational system. Employees need to get familiar with the importance of
communication skills in their development, to avail the growth opportunities(Messum,
Wilkes, Jackson and et.al 2016). It is also important to check whether the employees are
motivated or not, as motivation is the tool which encourages individual to keep moving
in their direction of attaining the set goals. Thus, from the above mentioned ways,
various solution to the work-based problem can be developed to eliminate the challenges
offered in the way of success.
2.2 Communicate in a variety of styles and appropriate manner at various levels
There are certain factors which influence the workplace and communication is
considered major among them. Communication in any organization is very significant
component, especially for an organization like Tasco. It helps in managing the
professionalism. There are different standard sets for communicate with different levels
of organization. Starting with the lower level employees, HR managers and General
managers need to focus on notice boards for proper group communication, to
communicate with individual employee they can use mailing systems. The most
significant and important technique to communicate with middle level employees is
through seminars and conferences. It should be noted that middle level managers need to

get informed verbally as well as written. Further, communication with the higher level
authorities can be done by conducting meetings and formal sessions(Beaven, T., 2016).
It is essential for management team to introduce different communication
systems such as formal e-mails and internal phone connectivity so that a proper
communication between employees and superiors can be generated. Also, customers are
the main part of any business and the most effective way to communicate with the
customers is through websites, all the details of product and services should be present
on website for convenience of customer. Adopting these communication styles for
different levels of organization will help in improving professionalism in the firm.
2.3 effective time –management strategies
Effective time management strategies are those strategies by which entities can
saves their time and increase their productivity. Organization must using this to learn
consistently and focus on it to get more benefit to their projects and clients. There are
many time management strategies that can be use by an individual to successfully
deliver the project and get promotions. Such as, clear focus, prepare lists like to do and
not to do, enhance high utility list, review, commitment ourselves etc. These strategies
helps to get more reliable work and more effective & efficient work. As per these
strategies, people must have to determine their goal for a day and prepare the beauty line
to achieve their task successfully. Setting of this beauty line might have lost of few
minutes, but it can save several hours of time. Afterword, prepare the list of activities to
do or not to do and update them regularly.(Singh, G. K. G. and Singh, S. K. G.) Make sure
that these list gives quick overview about everything just like urgent, important and
remember. Before starting of the work, identify the activities which provides positive or
negative effect on the project(Benson, Morgan and Filippaios, 2014). Always start the
important work first thereafter, working on unimportant items. Identify all the activities
that disrupt the work and find their solution as far as possible, Like ignore the phone
calls when doing some important work etc. Try to maintain the flow of work, if once it
broke than too hard to reestablish them. Always spend 5-10 minutes for reviewing the
task every day. Due to all these activities work is automatically improves and saves lot
of time and also it increases the effectiveness and efficiency of the work. It provides
ultimately benefit to employees, organization and to the client.

TASK 3
3.1 Role of people in a team and together achieve the goal
Team member plays a crucial role in achieving the goal. They had selected in a
team due to special skills which requires team to complete the project task. For
successful performance team members need to allocate the entire work and inform
projecting manager about progress or any kind of issues that may arise(Devambatla and
Nalla, 2015).Team requires the role perform by team members which were allocated to
them as per their skills. The responsibilities on team members to manage their work day
by day, and report the project manager as appropriate. Team member have to pay
attention on those problems which other may facing. Essential ingredients for the
successful project is tolerance and good or effective communications among team
members. In every project team members need to know to give respect and credit to
every member of a team. For achieving goal successfully every team need to give time
to each member and to do an open discussion. Provides benefit to each team member
and gives them comfortable feeling so that automatically their efficiency and
effectiveness towards the work increases. Provides facilities to each member and give
them proper chance to speak. Effective group is one who listen everyone carefully and
then plan for strategies to achieve the long term goal successfully. Provides help to each
and every group member to get success immediately and achieve goals in long(Deeley,
2014).
3.2 Analysis of team dynamics
Tuckman's model explains the four stages of team dynamics, namely- forming,
norming, storming and performing.
 Forming: In this stage, employees of same level operational roles come into
contact with each other which helps them understand each other. It is the initial
stage of team dynamics.
 Norming: It is the intermediate stage between the forming and storming sage. At
this phase of dynamics everyone is clear about the roles and responsibilities
offered to them and put their best for effective contribution.

 Storming: In this stage people come into the discussion phase. At this phase of
dynamics employees start to share their opinions and point of view for
accomplishment of target. It is very important phase of dynamics as at this stage
employees will understand each other and will have the complete idea of
potential of each other and this thing will help in suppressing the egos and
grudges.
 Performing: In this stage of team dynamics, the completion of work force is
obtained. Above three stages helps in attaining this stage.
Thus, this theory by Tuckman provides the scenario of team dynamic s in
context to the current situation.
3.3 alternative ways to complete tasks and achieve team goals
The best way to achieve the task is to prepare vision, mission, values and plans
for the goals. Prepare strong positive relationship among member of the team. Makes
proper communications between group member, proper involvement & engagement and
also develop peoples and team to achieve more success(Jackson., 2014).All members
must be responsible and accountable towards their work. Gives mutual respect and
trustful support among the group members. Takes proper feedback and support
everyone, especially new employees. Every team have to provide clear role and
responsibilities to their team member. Provides them proper job description and give
them work as per their qualification and as accordance with resources. Prepare clear
procedures for solving the problems or making decisions and also makes planning,
conduct meeting time to time, evaluate work performance and also manage the changes
to them( Tan, 2016). For achieving the goals team must have to set specific goals time to
time, and also divide big goal in small parts as a goal. Also, includes employees in
setting of goals and provide them valuable respect. Use proper working techniques and
sustain memberships to get the trust of the members towards organization. Objective
should be clean and clear and every one knows the objective of the company or
organizations. Choose proper leader who leads the entire work and have vast number of
knowledge & experience about the project. By using all these techniques team will
surely achieve their goal with proper efficiency and effectiveness.

TASK 4
4.1 Evaluate tools and methods for developing solutions to problems
To eradicate the issues and challenges rising in an organization, it is crucial to
develop tools for fixing problems. There are various tools and methods used by business
organizations for developing solutions to the problems such as- assessing the internal
and external environment factors, analysis of communication problems, implementation
of training sessions and seminars, feedback sessions for employees, etc.
It is essential for an organization to provide effective and required training to the
employees(de Guzman, and Choi, 2013). Further, technical knowledge should be
provided to enhance the performance of employees. Operational system must be aware
with the advanced technical equipment for effective work, training sessions can be
conducted for this. Digital skills should be introduced by firm to the employees. For
managing interest of workers in their respective job profiles, timely activities like small
parties, gatherings, events can be organized. Reward system can be implemented, which
will enhance the self-motivation of employees and consequently, performance of firm
will boost up. Also, seminars should be conducted for motivation improvement, this will
help in enhancing the work ability of employees and will help them to attain success.

4.2 Develop an appropriate strategy for resolving a particular problem
Strategies for effective recruitment process can be developed. Recruitment is the
most essential factor which influences the performance of a firm. Recruitment process
should involve effective tests like aptitude test, logical test, digital test, technical test
etc., this will result in hiring of a skilled and qualified candidate. Skilled and qualified
candidates would be effective for the performance of organization and will help in
attaining growth and success.
Afterwards, internal environment of the firm need to be effective, strategies for
better internal environment includes communication with the employee, behavior with
the employee, rewards to the employee, praising or appreciation for the work. Internal
environment of firm plays an important role in performance of employee's as well as
firm's. Proper communication in the operational and functioning system of company

will help employee to put their views of enhancing business of firm, also, behavior of
higher authorities with lower level employees influence them to a larger extent. Timely
rewards to deserving candidates will make them work harder and more effectively(Ju,
Pacha, Moore. and Zhang, ,Jones, 2013). Further, to deal with the problem of lack of
motivation, various seminars can be conducted for make an employee motivated it is
necessary to appreciate their efforts towards organization. Proper management policy
for managing all the data associated with the firm will be an effective tool for
economical and social growth of organization.
Hence, with the help of these policies and strategies explained above, challenges
offered in the work force can be resolved.
4.3 Evaluate the potential impact on the business of implementing the strategy
There are many positive impacts on the business of implementing the above
stated strategies. With the help of effective recruitment strategy, organization will spend
in qualified and skilled employees which will help organization in its growth. Skilled
and qualified employees will work effectively and thus boost up the performance of
organization and consequently, organization will be benefited(Sinclair, Davis, L and
et.al, 2014). These strategies will help employees to understand the culture of
organization and this will help in comforting them, in this way service quality of
organization will be improved. Further, communication strategy will help in proper
sharing of information, which will help in suppressing the operational errors. Also,
proper communication with the customers make them satisfied with the services
provided by us and as a result of this, the number of customers will be increase, which
will directly enhance the business status of organization(Spence and Hyams-
Ssekasi,2015). Further, business management strategy will help in managing all the data
associated with the operational and functional unit of organization and it will directly
influence the financial status of firm. Thus, in many aspects of business these strategies
are observed to be profitable.
CONCLUSION
Various aspects related to the employability skills are discussed in the above
study. From, this study it is clear that it is essential for each and every employee

engaged in any business to improve its communication and problem solving skills. Also,
the organizations need to implement different motivational techniques to motivate the
employees working there. Use of different training session in development of
organization is explained. Further, various problem resolving strategies and their impact
on business were explained in this study. This study also include the effective ways in
which organization should function to complete the required tasks with proper strategies
to attain the desire of success.
