INTRODUCTION
The report aims to ascertain the teaching and educational practices in learning and
developing. Teaching creates an environment and platform to learn and grow knowledge and
skills to promote student learning. every students seeks their growth through building cognitive
and sensory mind growth. It gives rise to their thinking potential, taking decisions and solve
problems (Goralski, and Tan, 2020) . A teacher makes it possible to solve various problems
which will help the students to come across with many life challenges and develop their own
abilities. This report is going to demonstrate about the teaching practices by identifying the
resources required in teaching practices. These resources are effective which is necessary for
developing teaching environment and enhance student interest towards the subject area. The
report also going to make sure that all the resources are designed and use for as per the
curriculum requirement and by obliging legal laws. The report will prepare the intellectual
property rights and duties for which they are responsible for the resource design.

1.1 Explain the purpose of resources in teaching and learning
In teaching and learning, the resources are necessary in providing knowledge, facts,
topics contexts and information to the students. Therefore, the learning requires appropriate
resources to help with getting better development and learn appropriately (Dilmurod, and
Fazliddin, 2021). In the current educational environment, using resources is necessary to interact,
attract and guide students to make sure that they have all the facilities and infrastructure. The
purpose of resources is to avoid any confusion and miss communication in delivering lectures,
projects and cover topics as per the curriculum requirement. It shows that, being a teacher, using
resources will provide assistance in making plans for students’ growth and development. A
teacher uses several materials while teaching to the students in a form of demonstration. As it is
believed that, students learners better is visual, auditory manner which will make them memorise
the concepts. In the digital era where internet is regulating drastically and it becomes part of
everyone’s life. This shows that the learning environment can only be interesting and interactive
through involving digital resources. It includes presentations, smart boards, Moodle. Whereas,
other resources are books, journals, charts, boards and notes. All these resources are significant

in different ways and subject areas. In own teaching practice for geography field, I need to use
different charts, presentations, smart boards, equipment like world map, graphical presentations
to show the exact locations and countries name to the students (Powell, and Bodur, 2019).
Therefore, using resources have many advantages for the role of teaching in geographic. The
purpose and importance are described below:
Effective learning: It is the main purpose of using resources to effectively learn about the
topics and concepts. By using different materials, equipment and internet sources, the students
will have wide range of areas through which they can take information, clear doubts and learn
accurately. Through using digital resources, the online lectures take places, projects are easily
assigned and gets completed.
Teaching ease: Using resources is beneficial for the teachers as well. It reduces the efforts
of preparing charts by their own, writing notes or lectures which will minimise the time and cost.
The teaching plan needs to accomplish the target objectives which ensure that the teaching will
make an ease to deliver appropriate time table and follow the structure in curriculum (Cottrell,
2020). It involves the key practices in order to assess the potential targets.
To motivate the students: It is necessary to motivate and attract the students towards the
classroom learning. It will lead to enhance the students’ potential to learn in better way. By using
good digital resources like Moodle, Kohoot, the students will be able to engage in learning and
take active participation toward the classroom.
1.2 effectiveness of specific resources in meeting individual learning needs
The learners are distinct in nature in order to meet with the individual learning needs. The
specific requirements of learners will make them motivated to learn more and take participate in
different academic activities (Paniagua, and Istance, 2018). Therefore, using resources as per the
learner’s requirement is crucial to make them learn through what makes them comfort. This
shows that, the learners will be able to classify their learning style and give them many options to
choose from it. In own specialism area of geography, the students will mainly learn about the
location, longitude, altitude and other key areas in the world map. So that, some learners prefer
to listen to the concept and lectures whereas, some will learn through visual tools. There are
many PowerPoint, Moodle and smart boards which will help in showing the graphical
representation of geographical concepts and areas. In geographical presentation, there is
requirement of smart arts, equipment’s and computers and boards for describing each and every

geographical area for better understanding of the students. The resources are effectively utilised
in my own practices which will help in enhancing knowledge and skills of the students towards
arts and history. All the specific resources are creating technical knowledge among the students
so that they could use each and every resources and take advantage of it. In my own practice, I
use visual arts, charts, graphics and presentations to showcase the geographical areas in which,
the curriculum covers many topics and range of areas. Some of widely used resources are
described below:
Text book: It is the most common resources which is used in teaching and education. The
text book presentation will be helpful to achieve the curriculum areas in order to suitably guide
the student about the topic (Joshi, Vinay, and Bhaskar, 2020). Therefore, it assures that, in order
to meet with the expectation of individual learners, the text book will be helpful to provide
information and data in detailed manner.
Presentations: There is requirement of presentation slides in which the teachers could
present large information in which there is requirement of key potential factors which will lead
to present the information in an authentic way. Presentation slides are easy to read out and
involve participation of the key factors.
Digital software: The digital software is also used by the teachers to provide better
experience to the learners. The teacher can improve various aspects of the individual in an
effective manner.
2.1 An analysis of the principles of resource design
There are multiple principles which can be used in resources design are mentioned
below:
VARK style
 Visual learners – There are various learners which can enhance their knowledge in an
effective manner. They can visualize different things and improve their overall
knowledge.
 Aural learners – In this style the learners improve their different aspects. They can learn
different skills and capabilities with the help of audio (Cennamo, and Kalk, 2019). In
the lectures they can learn different things in a significant manner.

 Read and write writers – In this style the individual can learn and write different things.
They can focus on improving different areas and they can understand various topics
efficiently.
 Kinesthetic Learners – There are multiple learners which can indulge in different
experience and able to enhance their knowledge.
2.2 An evaluation of sources that inform resource development
There are various resources which can be used in the geographic. The main focus is to
understand different topics in an effective manner. With the help of curriculum development
teacher are multiple activities which needs to be planned. There are various code of conduct and
values which is implemented by me in order to provide a enhanced experience to the individuals.
Being the teacher I asses the critical points of the learner in order to improve their multiple
aspects.
2.3 An analysis of theories, principles and models of inclusive curriculum design
There are multiple principles, theories, and models which can be used in order to develop
an effective curriculum in which the resources development is briefly described it is as follows:
 Learning and teaching style – In this stage the student is responsible for enhancing their
knowledge by understanding different viable topics. On the other hand, there are multiple
test which is conducted by the teacher in order to improve their knowledge. The student
follow an effective structure which is emphasises in this stage (Carlson, and et.al 2019).
The student needs to indulge themselves in a learning game which improves their overall
knowledge. In the last stage the student is ready in indulging in new activities and
adapting to the new topics.
 Process product and Praxis – This is the theory which is based on developing an
effective curriculum. It is certainly believed that the knowledge of the curriculum is vast
and it needs to be transmitted. The students can achieve different results in an effective
manner. The need of the students is certainly understand by the teacher and it improves
the students knowledge. They can capitalise on different opportunities in the future.
 4 Basic Principles of Tyler – There are multiple principles which comes under this
particular theory. This theory is basically used to develop and effective curriculum which
help to use the resources. The teacher are able to utilise the resources with the help of this
curriculum. They can provide an emerging experience to the learners. There is a proper

curriculum which is required it helps the teacher to provide a proper development to the
students.
2.4 Analysing ways in which resources can be adapted to enable an inclusive approach
There are various resources which is needed in order to provide a rich education
experience to the students. Being a teacher of Geographic I have examined that the students
needs to understand new and emerging topics which is been regulating in the subject. I have
development different strategies and models in order to engage the students in an effective
manner (Gogiberidze, and et.al 2019). This will help them to attain an efficient growth for the
future. On the other hand, there is a a prominent use of different technological advancements
through this students are able to understand different topics and improve their overall aspects.
The learning styles will also help to understand the requirements of the students. Through this
the students are able to achieve academic success in the future.

3.1 Explain ways in which resources can be classified and stored
The resources needs to be stored and classified in an effective manner. There is a an
access option which needs to be provided to the respective individual. There are multiple
principles which can be implemented in order to keep the resources safe. The resources needs to
classified it helps the person while they use the resource. The teachers are able to use the
resources on the required time. The teachers can use the resources and store it in VLE platforms.
With the help of this Virtual platform the students can use the resources in an effective manner.
They can access the data and other prospects in the viable time. Through this they are able to do
the work in a effective manner and able to achieve great results. The access needs to be provided
to the individual. The data needs to be keep safe and the requirements and access needs to be
fulfilled by the required person (Quarchioni, Paternostro, and Trovarelli, 2022). The teacher is
able to utilise the resources in an efficient manner. They can focus on developing in different
strategies and methods.
Being a teacher of geographic I design the curriculum in which there are all the details
present regarding the lectures and other activities. With the help of curriculum there are regular
tests of the candidates which is conducted it helps them to improve effective areas. Through, this
they are able to capitalise on different opportunities. The curriculum also help to utilise the

resources in an significant manner. I provide new course materials to the students which helps
them to understand new topics and attain different skills in an strategic manner.

The resources needs to be designed in an effective manner. The data can be shared to
other professionals. There are course material which needs to be provided to the students. It is
essential to provide and engaging experience to students. There are multiple meetings which the
staff can take in order to resources properly (Leithwood, and Louis, Eds., 2021). They can focus
on utilising the resources effectively. The profession needs to be viable in order to use the
resources in an efficient manner. The development of teachers will take place if they use the
resources in a strategic manner. Being a teacher of geographic I utilise the resources in an
effective manner. I can focus on enhancing the overall knowledge and identify different
requirements of the students which helps them to become more strategic.
4.1 Reviewing legal requirements and responsibilities relating to the development and use of
resources
 There are multiple rules and regulations which needs to be followed by the teacher in
order to provide better experience to learners. They can focus on individual growth and
help them to capitalise on different opportunities in the future.
 The students needs to be provide with different facilities. They can ensure the Health
and Safety Act 2004. The students needs to be provided with heath and safety.
 The use Data protection Act 2018 is used to safe the data of the students. It needs to be
kept in a safe environment (Bezanilla, and et.al 2019). With the help of different
technological tools the individuals can be stored in the digital format which is safe in this
new digital era. This act also has several benefits which could be enhanced the overall
performance of the individuals. Data protection is one of the most important aspect. The
teacher needs to kept the resources and data in the safe hand. They need to establish an
authentic source which could be accessed by them only whenever they needs.
 There is another another rules which needs to be established it includes the Equality Act
2010. In the lectures the teachers needs to provide equal opportunities to the individual
and help them achieve an effective growth without any discrimination. There are multiple
methods which can be used by the teacher in order to provide an healthy environment.

The teacher needs top utilise the resources properly in order to enhance the teaching
experience. They need to implement the rules and regulations in an effective manner to help the
students enhance their overall skills and capabilities. They can enhance the overall performance
of students in a strategies by identifying their key requirements. Being a teacher of geographic I
am able to follow all the rules and regulations which helps in students developments. In the
future they generally focuses on achieving great results.
4.2 Implications of intellectual property rights and copyright in use of resources
The intellectual property is work which is authorised by the individual person. There are
various individuals which can use this property and it is totally illegal. The individual needs to
take the permission while using the property of other person.
 Copyright designing and Patent Act, 1988 (CDPA) – This is the law which helps the
use to keep the data safe. If anyone use the property without any permission the person
can take necessary actions against the individual. The teacher must also known this law it
helps them protect the property. They need to follow these rules it will help them in
significant manner.
 Data Protection Act 1988 – This is one of the most vital law which helps the individual
to protect their data. The data is protected and it is safe and secure. The major problem
which the individual face is plagiarism (Manca, 2020). Most of the teacher use the new
technological methods. In this they need to protect the data of the learners. They need to
take strict measures in order to protect the data of the individual.
These laws and legislations needs to be followed by the teachers in an appropriate
manner. These laws will enhance their teaching standards and help them to utilise the resources
effectively. With these laws and legislations they can carry out different objectives and improve
the core areas of the students. These rules will assure that they are providing the best experience
to the learners. Being a teacher of geographic I follow all the rules and regulations which helps tp
enhance the overall performance in an effective manner. I can provide a rich education
experience to the students. Their data is secured in every manner through I provide a healthy and
safe environment in which the individuals can enhance their skills and capabilities.

2.5 Designed resources, including those that involve new and emerging technologies, to engage
and meet the individual needs of learners
Teaching resources are the materials that are being used to facilitate learning so that
knowledge can be acquired in effective manner. These are the aids that facilitate the students so
that they are engaged in the classroom. There are rapid changes in the technology and the
educational institute must assure that they use latest technology in order to teach the students in
appropriate manner (Romero, and Ventura, 2020). The knowledge of geography will be
understood by the students effectively with the use of emerging technology. It helps them to
teach the students in best appropriate manner. The use of most appropriate resource is necessary
for the better learning of the students. In today’s dynamic environment providing best guidance
and support to the students is necessary. The use of internet is expanding in today’s time period
and by using the same to teach the students they will be able to learn effectively. The needs of all
the learners must be identified and the resources must be designed in such a manner that they are
able to satisfy them effectively. The various resources are as follows:
Moodle: It is a resource that is being used by the teachers in order to provide best to their
students. It is necessary to provide all the details to the students at a single platform (Stronge,
2018). This is one of the technological advancement that is necessary to manage the work of the
individuals. This helps me to post all the videos related to geography and the students are able to
learn from them. They are able to make revision of all the topics with the help of this to manage
the work in best suitable manner. Each and every individual has their own expectations but the
use of Moodle provides them effective platform where they are able to learn in best suitable
manner.
 Benefits: This is one of the customisable platform that assist the students to learn in
effective manner. The students are able to get the access to the learning materials with the
help of Moodle (Leicht, Heiss, and Byun, 2018). This resource engages the learners and
they are able to retain the information properly.
 Limitations: One of the limitation is that the platform is unable to take big projects.
There are some students who are not able to cope up with the new technology and are
unable to use the same in proper manner.

Power point presentation: It is one of the best resource that helps me to teach the students with
the important points that they can learn. There is need of providing important points to the
students are able to learn in proper manner. The students are able to remember the information
and revise the topics in effective manner.
 Benefits: There are various benefits of using power points as the students are able to
remember the important information and keep the same safe with them. There is need of
using the same in order to enhance the performance of the students.
 Limitation: It is time taking for the teachers to design power point presentation. The
content provided must also be up-to the mask so that students are able to learn from the
same.
2.6 Employed resources to engage and meet the needs of individual learners in own specialist
area
The resources which needs by the individual includes American fact finder and other cost
materials. In geographic there are various topics which needs to be understand by the learner.
The students needs to understand and take help of the new technological factors which includes
google earth. It helps them to understand new geographic locations. They are able to improve
their critical areas in which they are lacking in an effective manner. Being a teacher of
Geographic there are multiple details which needs to be improved by student. I utilise the
resources to identify the key requirements of the individuals. I taught them various things about
the new geographic locations (Robinson, 2018). I enhance their overall performance by
providing them new maps which is in regards to the the subject. These resources of geographic
which includes globes and maps will improve the students practical knowledge. Through this
they are able to perform better in various conditions.
On the other hand, in order to enhance their theoretical knowledge. The students is able
to focus on different things. They can improve the theoretical knowledge with the help of
overview of the planet earth in geographic. This will enhance their curiosity in an significant
manner. I am able to provide them syllabus with the help of different technological tools. I
provide them different books which includes different topics (Roberts, 2019). This will help
them to enhance their overall strategies and approaches in regards to the respective subject. In
the lectures I provide them different things which helps them to become more better in various
ways. In the classroom there are multiple locations which is provided in Geographic. It helps the

individual to improve different aspects. I ask them what are the problems they are facing in this
subject. I make a systemic plan by identifying different areas in which they are lacking. This
helps the individual to become more confident and they can achieve great results in the subject.
Being a teacher the main focus is to help them in different manner to attain a serious growth in
future. utilising the resources is also equally important. I utilise the resources effectively to
provide better learning experience to the individuals. There are different types of assessments
which increase the knowledge of learner (Hargreaves, 2019). I provide them multiple choice
questions which will improve different skills and able to grow their overall capabilities. On the
other hand, there are new technological tools which can help them to become more prominent in
their academics. I can also provide them better teaching experience with the help of new
technological tools.

(5.1) Evaluating the effectiveness of practice in relation to development and resources to
understand need of learners in own area
There is an need to utilise the resources in an efficient manner to achieve great results. I
evaluate all the needs of the students in a systematic manner. This will help them to attain
different skills and capitalise on different opportunities. In relation the geographic it is severely
important to understand the needs of the learners. There are multiple points which is mentioned
below:
 Providing them the necessary course materials which will improve their overall skills and
help them to understand new topics at a faster pace. I use the resources and utilise them in
an efficient manner (Caena, and Redecker, 2019). The resources will facilitate them to
improve their critical areas in which they lack in front of other individuals.
 Theoretical knowledge of the learners is also improved with the help of different
resources such as different books regrading to the subject and different assessments
which enhance their knowledge in an effective manner.
Being a teacher of geographic there is an important need to utilise the resources by
planning different activities. There are certain strategies which is implemented by me in my
teaching to boost the morale of the students. They can focus on capitalising different career
oriented opportunities in future.

resources in specialist area
Discussing different strengths
 I have certain strengths I am experienced in teaching the student in geographic. This is
one of the major strengths. I provide the enriching education experience to students and
help them to attain an efficient growth in future.
 I am good in decision making skills which helps me to use the resources in a better way
(Engineers, 2019). Being a teacher of geographic there are multiple aspects through
which I improve the students performance and help them to become achieved different
goals by fulfilling the daily tasks in regards to the subject.
 I am also good at communication skills. I ask the students in becoming more effective.
Being a teacher of geographic the most prominent area in which the student lacks is
understanding the locations of different regions. I cross question them in lectures and take
their doubts and help them to improve their critical points. I use the new technological
resources which includes the online map to help them understand about the locations.
Discussing the Areas of improvement
 I need to improve my time management skills. This is the area which is creating a barrier
in managing different activities. I need to design an effective curriculum in which I can
find details about the necessary tasks and duties. The main focus of improving their area
with the help of different resources. This will enhance my performance in every manner.
Being a teacher of geographic I need to manage my day to day activities and tasks to
provide a better kerning experience to the students.
 In also need to use the technology in a strategic manner. I need to get comfortable with
the new technological tools which can help the students to attain an effective growth in
future. Being a teacher of geographic there are new technological tools which needs to be
understand properly (Holmes, 2018). In the lectures I need to provide better learning
experience to the students with the help of smart boards and other important features.
 Creative skills is the area which I need to improve in an effective manner. Being a
teacher of geographic I need to become to become more creative in every manner. In
order to enhance I need to make the assignments more creative. Through this I am able to

provide better experience to the individuals and improve their overall efficiency in
multiple aspects.
