The Developing manager is the person who manages large number of responsibilities and
aimed at accomplishing the main objectives of the firm by directing the people and resources to
work together. The study is based on the management behavior within the two hospitality
business of London. This report will help in making a clear understanding about the management
styles used in different hospitality business. Also it discovers the leadership styles used in the
organization in order to motivate the employees for the efficient operations which helps in
sustainability and growth of the firm.
Moreover, it will also help in exploring the personal strengths, weakness, opportunities and
threats of the assistant manager of the Clayton Crown Hotel in London. This report will also
reflecting the effective leadership qualities that help motivating the workforce and also support
the main objective of Frankie & Benny’s restaurant. Furthermore, the report will help in
producing the Self-reflective report and career Development plan of the business.

hotel, managers are mainly adopts the mixed type of management style in which sometimes they
engage the employees and leaders in taking the decisions while sometimes not. So there are
various management styles that are used in the hospitality business such as:

Giving challenging tasks: Employees within the hotel constantly grow if the managers
provides the efforts to increase the skills and knowledge of the workforce. This in turn
helps in providing the opportunities for individual growth and development (Zakarevičius
and Župerkienė, 2018). Challenging tasks lets them developing new skills and this makes
them feel appreciated and thus this leads to the effective productivity within the Frankie
& Benny's restaurant.
3.2 Justifying the managerial decisions made to support the achievement of the agreed goal or
objective
Managers direct organize and control human resource as well as other resources of the
company in order to deliver the effective productivity. So being the manager of the Frankie &
Bunny's restaurant, I always concentrate towards the positive culture and structure of the hotel.
This ensures satisfaction of the employees at workplace. Various managerial decisions which
supports the organization towards the achievement of main objectives are as follows:
Formulation of the effective strategies and policies: Being the manager within the
restaurant, it is very important to formulate the effective strategies within the business
that contributes towards the satisfied individual. Strict policies and procedures will
demotivate the workers and thus effects the main productivity.
Monitory benefits for employees: in order to satisfy the workforce of the firm and
motivate the employees towards the increased performance. Their basic necessities
need to be considered first. Monetary benefits will helps in improving the morale of the
employees.
Conflict resolution- fair and equal treatment of the employees is also one of the
important factor which leads towards the achievement of the organizational goals.

Being the manager of the hotel, it is my responsibility to force the employee for the long
term retention. This will be only achieved by increasing the career development plans and

I want to promote the professionalism at workplace which can only be achieved by

It has been concluded that management and leadership style followed the hospitality
business mainly varies according to the level of operations within the organization. This report
has made a clear understanding about the different types of management approaches used within
the hospitality organization. It has also reflected own potentials and perspectives of the assistant
manager within the Clayton crown hotel. It has also helped the readers in producing the personal
career development plan for which has helped the manager of the hotel in overcoming various
