There is a big change in the world and organization are in high competition
because each and every organization want to achieve a big level of
productivity and sustain at top position. Every organization needs employees
who can help in achieving the goals of the organization and can uplift the
standard as well. Organizations expect, employees to do the maximum
efforts and job performance plays an important role to be considered by an
organization. There are many qualities of an employee that influence an
organization like abilities, emotional intelligence, competencies, values and
cultures. Earlier IQ was considered as an essential factor in private and
public sector even after considering all the diplomas, degrees and
qualifications of the employee in any field. There is no surrey about the work
performance that it should always be structured and not always as
successful as executives because there are employees who does not possess
the capability to handle stress at work. So emotional intelligence is
considered as a very crucial point now as EI is a factor that helps the
employees to handle and manage stress at work and self- control the
emotions as well as pressures. It also assists in getting positive spirit and
ensure the god level of performance even in drastic situations. Organizations
have started hiring people as per their Emotional question as it is the
important solution to cope up with the problems in an organization and to
become successful. Emotional intelligence is the capability that involved the
control of the emotions of others as well as one- self by analyzing the
behavior.
Emotional Intelligence refers to the capacity that helps in controlling and
expressing emotions and that can also help in handling interpersonal
relationship in an empathetical and judicial way. “Emotional intelligence is
the most important factor for success in any workplace.” In present era,
there is a drastic change in technological aspect in each and every
organization. It is known that soft skills like active listening plays very
important role and it also affect the impression on people. When employees

feel important and valued then they feel more motivated and engaged and
put hundred percent efforts for achievement of goals. Emotional intelligence
results in high empathy i.e. the capacity to assess the feelings of others.
Emotional intelligence can be assessing by the ability of a person for using
the soft skills. Emotional intelligence is positive as well as negative at the
same point because people with low emotional quotient face a lot of
challenges in life. Emotional intelligence within us helps to know that how we
feel when we truly connect people with others. It also helps in providing the
ability to listen as well as to speak at the time of requirement. Emotional
Intelligence creates a sense of internal balance in human being that helps in
proper decision making, communicate effectively and maintaining effective
leadership practices. There are mainly four skulls of emotional intelligence.
These are self-awareness, self-management, relationship management and
social awareness.
There are some skills of emotional intelligence like people who have soft
skills helps in building good relationship based on loyalty and trust.
Emotional intelligence also impacts the mood of a person because mood is
contagious. When it comes to a leader, it is important to have a good and
positive mood so that they can create more collaboration, good work and
good energy. If the mood is bad, then it results in high turnover, anxiety and
bad financial results. It has been seen that there are organization that have
strong organizational culture and they have women in senior management.
Women are better in self- management in comparison to male but at the
same time women are more emotional and it is difficult for them to handle
the situation. They are also more competent in case of building trust, so it is
very important to share leadership with men as well as women. Different
leadership traits will result in the success of a business and strengthen the
culture of business. Many researches have been done on this because it is
necessary to find that emotional intelligence is necessary for the growth of
organization or not. Sometimes it creates a very negative impact on

organizational cultures. There are multiple benefits by which emotional
intelligence create high impact. There are many people who get managerial
positions because of the leadership qualities in them not because of the time
duration they spent in an organization. It is known that emotional
intelligence is very important for job performance than any other skill
because people can only survive in an organization when they make strong
connection with other people. People start working in organizations so that
they can improve their emotional intelligence competencies. It is known as
the path for success that results in continuous improvement. There is an
importance of soft skills in organizations for achievement of organizational
goals and there are ways that results in the improvement of emotional
intelligence.
Emotional intelligence is a factor that can be inbuilt in a person from birth or
some people learn it later. There are many people who does not have any
idea about the adverse reaction of emotions on the thinking ability. It is very
easy for anyone to learn emotional intelligence and to learn it at a later age.
Emotional Intelligence is one of the best factors that shows or reflects the
performance in the workplace as well as the main driver of leadership. As per
the increase in emotional intelligence, there is an increase in the ability to
develop trust into the relationship in business arena. Relationships plays a
very major role in the business-like relationship with the team members and
relationship with managers. Relationship quality is a factor that majorly help
in assessing the effectiveness of the culture of organization. Proper
understanding of emotional intelligence results in improvement of internal
relationship and deepens the sense of professional accomplishment as
personal fulfillment. Emotional intelligence is a quality that any person cam
learns because it is not a natural trait. Although, there are some people who
are naturally inbuilt with this emotional intelligence, but everyone has
potential to develop their skills in this particular area. People can learn from
