planning can be made and results can be achieved within given time period. This is strengths

Decision making- There are various decisions which are required to be made by higher
authority in organisation. Here, group exercise is based on fund raising for Brain Tumor Charity
which requires various analysis of sources and institutions who provide funds for such work. In
this case, being leader I have taken various decisions to achieve final goal and objectives in

task along with time within which it has to be completed. This is beneficial in improving the
current condition and achieve the goals and objectives without any problem.
Time Management- The group assignment is given to complete work in given time
period. I being team leader lack such skills for project work because I could not complete the
particular activities on assigned work. Therefore, this is important skill which is lacked by me for

against which the current time is to be measured for finding the gap.
2.3 Individual development with example
This project helps in individual development in terms of enhancing skills and knowledge.
There are some strengths and weaknesses which are possessed by individual. For example, when
I was doing group exercise, there is rise in conflict. The main reason for conflict was mismatch
which I realised as made plan helped other colleagues to work effectively and efficiently and
achieve results.

2.3 Individual development with example
This project helps in individual development in terms of enhancing skills and knowledge.
There are some strengths and weaknesses which are possessed by individual. For example, when
I was doing group exercise, there is rise in conflict. The main reason for conflict was mismatch
of thoughts between other colleagues and mine so feedback was taken and analyse that everyone
were against me and I tried my best and took advice from others to solve issues. Similarly, at the
time of individual development, I realised that team focused on their work rather than objectives
of project so in this case I made each and every individual about importance of assigned project
and completed work. I have taken feedback from my sub-ordinates for obtaining their honest
opinions of the application of my skills in managing the work. This has helped in making
changes by which I can work with increased efficiency and productivity. Furthermore, I
researched about my skills which require improvement so that I can be a good leader and help
the team to achieve their targets within the time. This is going to be accomplished with the clear
instructions and guidance.
2.4 Individual contribution and overall team performance
In order to complete assigned project which is based on raising of funds for Brain Tumor
Charity to help and support victims, each and every member of team give their own contribution.
Before begin of project, every member of group were made aware of their role and
responsibilities for better results. There were several tasks which has to be performed and
complete project in given time period. In this case, contribution of each and every members of
team required as each of them have knowledge and skills for particular field. Therefore, dividing
work among each and every members leads to improve overall performance of team. Therefore,
in this way there is contribution of individual and improvement of team performance.
For this, Belbin theory has been used which is based on personality test to determine
different characteristics and behaviour of individuals working in the organisation. With the use
of this theory, I have come to know that there are certain capabilities and skills of mind which
should be modified in order to increase my efficiency. Also, I should be more practical and wise
in making decisions. I should act more responsible and learn to take accountability of the work
or mistakes done by me. Along with this, I should focus on analysing the behaviour of every
member working in the team so that their participation can be increased. This is going to help in
exchanging ideas which will ultimately leads to increased co-ordination and co-operation.
Furthermore, I should divide the work and assign roles on the basis of skills and capabilities of
sub-ordinates working in the team. This is going to help in achieving the targets without any
delay or inefficiency. Teamwork is one of the most significant factors for increasing the success
were against me and I tried my best and took advice from others to solve issues.
