INTRODUCTION
Each and every type of organisation, management need to take care that adequate
manpower is available. They require to provide duties and tasks to members in according to their
capabilities. This help superior to make subordinates function effectively and attain targets
timely (Rees and French, 2016). Recruitment and selection are activities conducted by employer
to choose best candidate and fill vacant positions. Apart from this, manager and leader should
construct relations with employees to retain skilled and competent members. Present report is
based on United Parcel Service which is popular firm in UK. This assignment consists
information about recruitment process conducted by HR to select best candidate. It is necessary
that management carried documentation and uses appropriate leadership styles. This help
company to utilise resources and make workers function effectively in team. So, members will
perform tasks in group and complete targets proficiently.

1.1 Documentation to select and recruit new member of staff
Recruitment is efficient activity which helps management of UPS to attract large number
of candidates and fill vacant positions. HR manager conducts selection process to select best
applicant which have adequate skills and abilities in according to job posts. So, recruitment is
positive approach while selection is negative tactic (Hodges, 2016). Thus, these are various
documents that are formulated by employer to communicate to public about vacancies.
As in UPS firm, manager of sales and distribution department post is vacant. These are
