INTRODUCTION
People work to provide themselves and their families basic essential things such as food ,
clothing as well as shelter. Once these basic needs are fulfilled than other needs and wants are
raised that make the life more comfortable. There are various motivational factors that encourage
people to work and complete all roles and responsibility in efficient manner. In this report
various positive as well as negative factors that are experienced by the people by particular job
role in discussed. There are various strategies that neglect all negative factors and enhance work
efficiency covered in this project report. Different theories are used to describe various
characteristics from different point of views.
TASK
Concept of motivation
Motivation is defined as the physiological as well as mental forces that leads and direct the
behaviour of particular individual and group to complete specific work in efficient manner.
There are various type of motivation such as intrinsic motivation that is related to psychological
concepts that raises the motivation through enhancing the sense of achievement as competitive
person. The respective concept depends upon the Maslow’s hierarchal need theory in which
people are motivate to reach on top that are begins from physiological to self-actualisation in
order to attain high level potential (Debes, 2018). The other method of motivation is extrinsic
that focus on outside individual needs such as getting rewords and recognition for their efficient
working. All these factors motivate people get high work performance in order to get higher
recognition. The respective concept is related to Taylor scientific management that states that
workers are paid more if they work more. So, people work harder in organisation for the purpose
of getting more money for themselves.
The various factors which motivate employees to work
There are various factors that motivates people to work more efficiently and get high work
performance. Motivation is the most effective factor that leads people to engaged with
organisation for long period of time (Dirani, 2017). This the initial challenge that are every
organisation face to motivate employees on order to gain organisational goals and objectives in
effective and efficient manner. Effective employee management is necessary for the satisfaction
