INTRODUCTION
In today’s business environment it is very essential for employees of enterprise to have
adequate skills and knowledge as this is one of the factor which largely affect the growth of
enterprise. In organization every job comes with different roles and responsibilities which
require different kind of skills and abilities to perform the same (HARGREAVES and WALSH,
2012). If an enterprise has more skilled workers than there are more chances that it will achieve
the success at a fast speed. Workers are the one who perform different type of jobs in a firm and
make products for final customers. For enhance skills of employees manager of company can
conduct training and development programs or can use different motivational techniques to
motivate them to perform best. TESCO, one of the most popular brand in UK is taken under this
report for study. Use of various motivational techniques to enhance quality of employee’s
performance and solutions to various work based problems is detailed under this report. Further,
different type of communication at various level of enterprise and effective time management
strategies is all mentioned in this. Along with this, role of an individual when he or she perform
in a team and alterative strategies to complete a particular task is all described in this.

1.1 Set of own responsibilities and performance
Own responsibility and management of performance is relate with self management. This can be
defined as the ability of a person to provide maximum efforts to a specific job in order to
maximize its output. Two main responsibility of management are planning and organizing relate
with the topic of self management (Adalsteinsson and Runolfsdottir, 2014). One of the main
feature of this is that it provide an opportunity to individual to determine own abilities and
demand. Individuals with expertise upon self management holds some specific skills which
represent their skills and capabilities and help him to analyze his strengths and weakness. Skills
of individuals is very essential for an enterprise as it help company in get competitive advantage
in market. Human resource manager of TESCO also have various responsibilities to achieve end
results. These can be better understood by following points:
Own responsibilities: HR manager of enterprise remain responsible for number of activities
such as performance evaluation of employees, conduct training programs for them. Further,
manager is the one who do various efforts to maintain discipline and motivate workers to
perform best. Along with this, manager is the one who offer incentives to employees for their
good work and guide them in right direction.
Performance objective: Main objective of manager remain to communicate well with all
employees as this help in create and maintain good relations with them. It is very essential for
manager to have information about detailed information about various employment laws to
formulate better policies for employees. All this help managers in encourage performance of
employees which increase profits of company.

1.2 Evaluation of own effectiveness against set objectives
Performance of employees and quality of work they done largely affect the success of
company. These are the one who do impact on profits and development of business. One of the
main TESCO is to produce and offer quality products to its customers in order to better satisfy
their needs and wants. To achieve positive outcomes employees need to perform the set
objectives and standards.
Quality of work and acceptance of job responsibilities
In order to encourage employees to contribute more in success of firm that it is very
essential for managers to first offer them job security and healthy and safe work
environment.
It is very essential for manager to identify the skills, abilities, knowledge and qualities of
individual require performing a specific job in enterprise. This help company in meet set
goals and targets.
Quality measurement of employee’s performance should be done by managers in a
systematic way in order to identify the quality of employee’s performance.
Managing job
Delegation of authority takes place in enterprise as per the designation of workers.
It is very essential task for enterprise to manage all activities in effective way in
order to achieve maximum outputs.
Maintenance society safety:
It is very essential for TESCO to consider safety of environment for contribute in
development of society.
All rules and norms of society should follow by the company in order to execute
business activities in an effective way.
As a manager of TESCO an individual should have different kind of skills and
abilities so he can handle all business operations in an effective way. Main skills
which must be there in individual includes the following:

Workers are one of the significant element of every enterprise. These are the one who
