INTRODUCTIONIn every company organisational behaviour play very important role in success and frailerof business. It is study of individual behaviour within the organisation as company is not knowfor their structure and building it is known for their good working facilities, positive environmentand human resource (Adeniji, 2011). The organisation is not able to work effectively withoutarrange activities in right form. It is fundamental technique through which company find itsimpact of culture over performance of employees as well as performance of organisation. Intoday's time there is so many organisation who operate their business at globally so, companyfollow cross function approach to manage their employees who belongs from different cultureand religions. This report is about culture and behaviour within the organisation who caninfluence the performance of employees and also, discussed about different motivational theoriesused by BBC company to improve their business operations.TASK 1A Organisational culture effect the performance of employeesThe values, language, beliefs, behaviour and norms shared by employees and manager inthe business environment is known as organisational culture. The culture of organisation isreflect by their office setup, dress code , customer treatment and benefits of employees. In everyorganisation the culture, behaviour and power affect the performance of employees or company.Every company should try to provide positive environment for work to their employees so thatthey can perform well in organisation to attain desired goals and objectives (ARI, 2010). There isso many company who make so much efforts to maintain balance between the behaviour andculture by providing strong set of rules and regulation or good working environment to theiremployees. The stability of company in business environment depends upon their power, politicsand behaviour. All these three factors play very important role in the success and frailer oforganisation so, company used them as biggest elements to get success.Handys cultural tipology: It is another popular model which was introduced by charles handyin 1999. It divided organisational cultural into four categories such as power, role, person andtask.Power: In this type of organization culture, senior managers delgates power to employee so thatthey can manage business activities without taking permission of senior managers. 3

Role: In this type of organizational culture, managers assign power to employee according totheir roles and position within work place. Task: In this, higher authority assign task and responsibilities to workers as per their currentskills and abilities. Person: In this, company decide its organisation culture according to the strength of itsemployees and their interests. B The impact of culture, power and politics on the behaviour in the BBCThe strong culture of BBC organisation show that employees are similar minded andcarry same beliefs and ethical values. If these value adjust with goals and objectives ofcompany, than they can establish effective team. The good team member can create strong bondbetween employees and manager which help them to avoid conflicts and problems arises andfocus on objective of company. The dominant culture depends on the culture, environment, valueand norms in which operates within the organisation (Buelens, et. al., 2011). The culture ofcompany should be clearly define to all members who associate with the organisation it, helpthem to follow all value and norms while performing any activity in the organisation. There aresome employees involves in politics if they transform their power into action by making somestrategy and plan. The culture of organisation decide the method through which all employeesregulate the operational activity. All rules, regulation and instructions are transfer in hierarchyform upper to lower. The culture and values play very important role in effective growth ofcompany in business market.Effect on performance: The culture of BBC organisation can influence the performance of employees and theirmotivational level. In organisation most of the times employees work harder if they feelthemselves to be part of company culture. The different culture operates in one company can alsoeffect the performance of employees as sometimes employee feel inequity because of differentculture within the organisation. So, manager of company should focus to provide same culturefor all peoples who work in all organisation.Power, culture and politics influence theperformance of organisation and employees at large level due to which company face downfalls(Chaneta, 2010).In BBC organisation culture and power should be in positive form which helpemployees to work effectively to attain goals in certain period of time. Employees do not think toleave the company for long period of time because of positive working environment and try to4
