Personal and professional development is the ability to enhance the skill of an individual
that benefit the performance of an organisation. Skill audit are accessed on the existing skill of
an employee that help to gain long term objective (Knechel and Salterio, 2016). For the better
understanding of report Holborn company has been selected which is hospitality company of
UK. It basically provides hotel as well as food and beverage service to the worldwide traveller.
This report covers following topics such as key benefit of as ongoing professional development
for both employer as well as employee. Access professional employer expectation of skill for an
organisational contact as well as identify ability skill and competence for specific job role.
Review learning theories used for professional development process moreover, construct

development hours so that to enhances the skill and professional competencies. It is a positive
thing as it gives learning which can be used in the welfare of the organisation in the long run.
