INTRODUCTIONManagement of business contributes a major part in the progress and success of any businesses.Organised systematic functioning of the business helps to carry smooth and harmonic operations inthe company. The report aims to realize the importance of the management of business. Plans forenhancement of own area of responsibility are also discussed. Monitoring and controlling systemsare also suggested. The plans to align resources and people are recommended. Management ofhealth and safety is evaluated. The report is drawn in context to ABC recruitment company and itsvarious plans and strategies are discussed to provide a brief study of the management of businessactivities (Crane and Matten, 2016). The suggestions are provided with reference to the company. TASK 11.1 Interrelation in various business procedures and functionalitiesEvery business involves the operations and procedures for offering the products andservices. Business procedures and functions are not separated and both are equally important for theorganisation. There exist a link between the procedures and the functionalities of the firm. Thebusiness functions are taken into action by the processes of the managers and leaders of thecompany. The link between the functionalities and procedures helps the company to increase itsefficiency and capability of offering quality products and services. The ABC company is alsoemphasizing of synchronising the processes and the functions so that it is able to provide a goodteam working for their customers. For relating these two the business process managers, recruiters, and senior leaders shoulddetermine the capabilities and skills of each members so that they could be put into a team to get themost benefits. This can be done by interviewing the workers, assessment of their knowledge couldalso be conducted and evaluation of their past performances could be taken into account. Acategorical framework needs to be followed for the selection process. Moreover, measures to retainthe existing talent should be taken so that selection process is not needed to be conducted often. Theprocess involves first interviewing and assessing the members, next is putting the selected membersin teams such that each team works harmonically and efficiently. Motivation and recognition willaid the workers to put more efforts in their works (Langley and et. al., 2013). The business functions are carried out in different departments and the different proceduresas per the requirement are followed. An organisational chart of ABC is described for furtherunderstanding.
