INTRODUCTION
In this global world, individual is developed with the adequate training which is a
systematic tool which includes their improvement in skills, knowledge and the performance for
their bright career. It is more useful for employees to reach their long and short term goal by
improving their current working efficiency. The main aim of this report is to discuss about
Whirlpool firm that engaged in providing refrigerator and washing machines. They are highly
concerned in making strategies in achieving high goals and objectives in business enterprise.
This report describes the development of individuals, organizations and teams. Further, it covers
several differences between individual and organizational learning, development and training. It
also includes requirement for continuous learning which helps in better performance level of a
company. Furthermore, the report aims in describing the contribution of High Performance
Working in making employee's more engaged towards their work. Lastly, different approaches to
performance management is also specified in the below report.
P.1 Knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required by HR
Human resource management is considered to be as most important department of each
and every organisation. The responsibility of human resource department falls into three
important areas which are benefit, compensation and staffing of the employee's. Whirlpool aims
maximising the level of profit and to motivate employees (Eime and et.al., 2013). Also in
relation to maximize the productivity and effectiveness of Whirlpool there are some important
skills required by human resource department which are as follows:
Employee's relations: To maintain appropriate standard and position of Whirlpool's the
relationship of employee's in the management must be smooth and effective. Moreover, the
issues should be resolved immediately in team that effects the business enterprise in increasing
the production. The management of Human Resource also pays attention in improving
employee's relation by solving their problems. The aspects of Whirlpool's are also evaluated in
respect to relationship of employee's with other members of the organisation (Gopal and Gosain,
2016). To identify growth of business, advanced performance of employee's in maintaining
relationship should be effective.

Collaborative
Human resource department able to work effectively with the help of team member,
workers and understand the need of customer to solve problem on time. Work collaboration is
helpful for efficient success of team work. Human resource management focuses on leadership
ability and also to manage the work on time (Moe and Dybå, 2010). It will help to manage the
resource and overall development of Whirlpool organisation.
Skills
Computer skills- HR manager must have computer skills as all the work that is being
performed basically depends on system. It includes attendance of employees, training
and development session etc.
Interpersonal skills- interpersonal skills includes leadership skills, teamwork, active
listening etc. so Hr manager of Whirlpool must have interpersonal skills in order to work
in effective and efficient manner.
Behaviour
Empathy- Empathy means the ability of understanding and sharing feelings with another.
This plays very essential role to make person feel respected and valued and also in
bringing out views and ideas related to Whirlpool.
Friendliness- it is the quality of openness and warmth that makes in feeling as welcomed
and at ease.
P.2 Personal skills audit.
Human resource manager in Whirlpool's manages the growth rate and solves the issue
of organisation. This improvements can be calculated by analysing SWOT in management. To
know the strength, weakness, opportunities and threats of human resource manager in the
organization is performed for increasing employees’ skills inside work place. Employees
performance can be improved by making overall changes in the management on time (Dahlgaard
and Dahlgaard-Park, 2011). The main purpose of skills audit is to identify the different facts
