positive wop5rkling environment in their work[place. Human resource department has
responsibility to establish the recruitment and selection procedure so this can help to recruit
better and potential applicant in job. In this report, various motivation technique which company
has followed is elaborated in this report. Leader play very crucial role in organisation
profitability and success and also helps to increase the motivation level of large workforce who
are working in organisation. They establish various training and development programmes that
can help to employees to increase their skill and knowledge. The term leadership and
management is different from each other which are described in this report. Management is
integral part of every organisation. They largely focus to accomplish organisation goals and
objectives in long run. It is necessary for every member of company to work in team this can
help to resolve all grievances and conflicts that exist in organisation. This report is based on UPS
which is the largest provider of parcel services in united kingdom. This company mainly works

knowledgeable candidate in organisation (Jones-Berry, 2013). I will mainly focus to appoint
candidate on the basis of skill and knowledge, not the discrimination factor line culture, social,
religion, caste, creed etc. I will worked on those rules and policies which the company has
formed. It is responsibility of human resource manager to arrange training and development
programme in their premises this can help to increase the skill and knowledge of worker. As a
human resource manager of UPS company it is my responsibility to resolve all grievances and
conflict that exist in workplace. I will also describe and specify all job information in front of
chosen candidates so the applicant has familiar with the job work.

easily give orders to all workers and if any of them abide by this advice they get punished. The

factor, an individual are able to perform their work with full efficiency and effectiveness.
McGregor has made two theories one is theory X and other is theory Y. Leader has adopted this
theory because this will give motivation for those workers who are not complete their work on a
given time. It is necessary for every subordinate to follow the instruction and advices of their
superior and works on them. The second situation is that the leader has made the team which
consist experienced member. Leader has largely focus too adopt the democratic approach in this
kind of situation (Krebsbach, 2015). Each member of team are performing their task with full
efficiency and effectiveness and also able to participate in decision making process. This theory
also states that it is necessary for leader to encourage the motivation and efficiency level of their

When the team has formed, there are some conflict factor are existed so it can adverse
affect the company profitability and productivity. In UPS, manager has largely consider the two
location where the conflict factor are exist one of the objectives and goals of company and other
is the relationship between superior and subordinate. In objective and goals conflict factor, team
has not able to allocated the work according to worker specialisation and expert, this can largely

their subordinates it can generate the conflict and misunderstanding between them .Their
relationship are largely affected to this factor. So it increase the dissatisfaction among worker
