INTRODUCTION
In today’s highly competitive environment it is becoming highly essential to recruit
trained personnel so that quality services can be produced. Working with leading people is
highly increasing concerns for most of the organizations nowadays. For the same, they just want
to recruit right people so that they can attain higher competitive advantage. In this concern, the
present study is taken into consideration which is based on the case scenario of Virgin Media. It
is one of the fastest growing enterprises which are totally engaged in promotion to take charge of
local market development for its new product(Lepsinger,2010). In order to promoting the
product in huge market of London city marketing team of company wants recruitment for
desirable talents to work with (Mendenhall and Osland, 2012). In this concern, the present study
gives brief description for building and leading effective marketing team in Virgin Media to
successfully promote the product in London’s local market. Further, this study gives appropriate
information about the various recruitment and selection techniques for all the desirable
candidates as well as impact of legal, regulatory and ethical considerations at that same time.

1.1 Documentation to select and recruit a new member of staff
Virgin Media is planning to recruit a Store Manager. For the same, they have prepared an
advert to publish it in media.

Monday to Saturday (6 days week)
We are planning to develop our leading and effective marketing
team to successfully promote the product in London’s local

PURPOSE OF THE JOB market. For the same, the main objective of store manager is just
to manage and take charge of local market development for its
new product. The main objective is maintaining the products
through overall store management and effective stock
management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Ensuring higher level customer satisfaction through
excellent customer services
Report on latest trends and consumer satisfaction as well.
Developing best strategies to expand store traffic and
optimize profitability
Reaching sales target and increasing market share
Dealing with customer service issues as well as
complaints and queries
Overseeing stock control and receiving orders
Achieving financial objectives by preparing an annual
budget and scheduling expenditures
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

A person should have BS degree in business administration or
relevant field
Strong communication skills with strong business related
knowledge
People and customer management skills
A person should have past experience in store management
around 2 years
Strong organizational skill
