Executive Summary Management of human resources is an integral factor for organisations that allows them to establish productivity. It is essential that functions of HRM are understood and catered to for impacting performance within organisations. The scope of the current case study analyses HR issues pertaining to two hospitals, where one hospital does not value HR functions and another does. The organisation that does not value HR functions has been rendered unproductive by staff turnover, accidents, staff shortages along with other severe consequences. The other organisationis rendered effective by means of effective staff planning and highly productive ambience.
